Purbeck Folk Club
Purbeck Folk Club's next event will be on Thursday 5th February 2026, when local singer-songwriter Pete Christie makes his debut at the Club. Pete is described as a “fingerstyle guitarist who plays from the heart and sings from the soul”. He has played across the country and in mainland Europe, including a few times at Swanage Blues Festival, Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, and Swanage Folk Festival.
Pete will be supported by Millie Watson who’s also making her debut at the Club. Millie’s music is “deeply embedded in folky roots and showcases her silky voice and husky tones”. In 2023 Millie won the “best newcomer” award at the Dorset music awards.
