Join Vulcan XL426 at its Vulcan Summer Taxi-Run and see it blast down the London Southend Airport runway on Saturday 12 September.
Viewing will be from the Vulcan Restoration Trust's exclusive visitor area in front of its hangar. This will give an uninterrupted view across the airport and unrivalled photographic opportunities.
XL426 will make two taxi-runs down the runway. The second pass will be at high-speed and the Vulcan will then taxi back to the apron area, giving a superb close-up view as it taxies in and shuts down its engines.
Arrive early to soak up the atmosphere, view the hangar displays and exhibits and watch XL426 being prepared for the afternoon's event.
Visitors can arrive by bus or train. London Southend Airport station is approximately 15-20 minutes' walk away and is served by frequent trains on the London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria line.
