Amwell Cottage - Open Garden for NGS
Informal garden of approx 2½ acres around C17 cottage. Large orchard of mature trees, with billows of cow parsley in spring, laid out with paths. Extensive lawns with borders, framed by tall yew hedges and old brick walls. Daffodils early in the year. Many roses in beds, borders and a tunnel. Stone seats with views, woodland pond, greenhouse, vegetable garden with raised beds and fire-pit area.
