59 The Chase - Open Garden for NGS
The garden begins on a decked terrace with seasonal pots. A short flight of fairly steep steps, without a handrail, leads to a formal lawn area framed by clipped yews, half-standard Portuguese laurels (Prunus lusitanica Myrtifolia), and, at the centre, a sculptural Niwaki (Ilex crenata). Further steps up reveal a cottage style garden with abundant borders, colour, and seating areas.
