Eight gardens in Linton village. Near the top of the High St, close to the junction with the A1307, is Queens House, with garden 'rooms' separated by hedging and graced by statuary. At the far end of the High St, the garden behind the Gallery Above at 94 High St is small and perfectly formed, accessed via a courtyard where teas are served, and all manner of interesting things go on. 30 Symonds Lane is a long Edwardian plot planted as a cottage garden and because of the walnut tree in the middle, the garden is at its best in late spring. The Hollies (36 Symonds Lane) is an established garden containing a surprising number of acid-loving plants and a wildflower area with mature trees as backdrop.
