Gorsey Bank Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A charming hillside hamlet at the southern edge of the historic market town of Wirksworth, set in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. This group features four gardens which demonstrate contrasting design responses to challenging terrain with a wide variety of planting; 2 Brooklands Ave has been developed since 2019, using a naturalistic planting style, with many interesting and unusual plants. Fern Bank is a hidden gem set in a small former quarry, surrounded by farmland, with beautiful views. Mill Cottage is a secluded cottage style garden with mill stream and architectural features, with seating areas to enjoy the different aspects. Watts House is a delightful tranquil garden.
