London Fields Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
A fascinating and very diverse collection of gardens in London Fields, all within easy walking distance of each other. New this year is 33 Albion Drive, a gravel garden designed specifically for birds and bees. At 84 Lavender Grove, there are twin south facing gardens: a courtyard with a tropical backdrop and a highly scented, romantic cottage garden. At 84 Middleton Road lies an unusually large secret garden where you can wander down meandering woodland paths and forget you are in London. The other two are north facing, with much the same space but totally different styles. 53 Mapledene Road is an established plantaholics garden in five sections, with not a spare unplanted inch.
