Clifton Castle - Open Garden for NGS
Impressive gardens and parkland with fine views over lower Wensleydale. Formal walks through the wooded 'pleasure grounds' feature bridges and follies, cascades and abundant wild flowers. The walled kitchen garden is similar to how it was set out in the C19, abundant produce in the summer. Recent wildflower meadows have been laid out with modern sculptures.
