West Horsley Place - Open Garden for NGS
West Horsley Place is set within a 380 acre estate. The garden adjacent to the Manor House dates back to the C15 and is approx 5 acres, completely surrounded by a wall over 300 yrs old. It has an ancient orchard, rose garden, interestingly striped formal lawns, an historic box hedge, many herbaceous borders, a magnificent white wisteria over 60ft tall and many wildflower areas. Recently opened new sensory garden in formerly neglected paddock.
