Six acres of beautiful gardens surrounding the Arts and Crafts mansion built in 1910 by C. E. Bateman. Hillside rock and wild gardens lead to ancient woodland, and lawns with ponds, fountains and managed flower beds lead to two magnificent terraces. Large kitchen garden with huge fruit pergola, orchard and peach-house, adjoin the separate Italian and Japanese gardens, with a lovely riverside walk.
