Y Felin Rhyd Hir - Open Garden for NGS
Y Felin Rhyd Hir (Melin Bodfel) is a stone built water-powered corn mill. The composite overshot waterwheel with cast iron shrouds has been renovated. The extensive grounds inc newly landscaped garden, Victorian style glasshouse, vegetable beds and orchard. A viewing cabin on stilts overlooks a lake which provides a habitat for wildlife and there is a walk beside a woodland of native species.
