Llanddona is one of the highest villages in Anglesey and sits between Red Wharf Bay and the Menai Strait. Some of the gardens need shelter from strong winds but many plants do well. There are 10 gardens to visit this year inc three new ones. You can visit a Georgian farmhouse, a former Chapel built in c.1840, both with gardens being restored, and a working farm. Many gardens have spectacular sea, countryside or mountain views and range from small to very large, with a variety of features from woodland and orchard to raised vegetable beds and greenhouses. Most gardens are within a short walk of each other but transport between gardens will be available. Plants for sale. Dogs welcome on lead.
