Cowper & Newton Museum Gardens - Open Garden for NGS

The tranquil Flower Garden of C18 poet William Cowper, who said, Gardening was, of all employments, that in which I succeeded best, has plants introduced prior to his death in 1800, many mentioned in his writings. The Summerhouse Garden, now a Kitchen Garden, inc organically grown vegetables and flowers, as well as herb and medicinal beds, and the summerhouse Cowper called his verse manufactory'.
