We have almost 1000 different plants connected to the role of plants in medicine, both today and in the past. These inc plants named after physicians, plants used to make modern medicines, those with long standing traditional uses, plants used in medical traditions from all the continents of the world, and plants featured in the Colleges first Pharmacopoeia Londinensis of 1618.
