North Moreton Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Charming village with listed buildings and a Grade I Medieval church featuring C13 stained glass. Three gardens open for the NGS this year. Filberts: 1 acre garden featuring a formal garden with lily and fish ponds, parterre with lavender and penstemons, informal pond, mixed borders, island beds, architectural foliage, secluded areas and many clematis. Vegetable garden, fruit cage and orchard. Mount Pleasant: Just under ½ an acre on 2 levels with a high bank and rockery. Lower level with gravel garden and parterre. Upper level with lawn with flower beds and wildflower meadow. Stapletons Chantry: C15 Grade II listed building with 2 acre garden and pony paddock. Flower beds along driveway, car park, and main garden.
