HMP Kirkham - Open Garden for NGS
The prison has 150 acres of farm and grounds maintained by prisoners learning horticultural and agricultural skills. The site has gardens with herbaceous borders, lawns, heritage orchard, allotments, greenhouses, wildflower meadow, wellness garden, wildlife and fish ponds and extensive woodland. You will be accompanied by the farm manager who will give a guided tour of the farm and grounds.
