4 Piermont Green - Open Garden for NGS
This L-shaped garden, partly enclosed by a Victorian wall, has an old fashioned woodland feel, with roses, a lovely spreading mulberry, and viburnum trees overlooked by ginkgo and purple elder. Global warming allows a banana grove to flourish alongside fig, lemon, pear, and plum. A low maintenance gravel area offers aeoniums and a pretty mallow, Althaea cannabina.
