Slatelands House - Open Garden for NGS
Victorian mill-owner's stone residence built on rising ground. Sloped bank from road is terraced stone retaining low-maintenance ilex balls, wild grasses with geraniums flowing down between. Front lawn, patios and plantings at house level. Rising rear ground comprises stone walls, terraced beds, lawns, patio and a waterfall, all set amidst rich plantings of warm colours and just a touch of whimsy.
