Hawthornden - Open Garden for NGS
A varied garden with an extensive lawn leading into woodland over 1½ acres. Planted with hardy shrubs and perennials the lush gardens have several wildlife ponds and lead down to a brook. Backing on to Peak District farmland, the gardens are a jam-packed transition from formal to wild - great for children to explore.
