Walhampton - Open Garden for NGS
Glorious walks through large C18 landscape garden surrounding magnificent mansion (now a school). Visitors will discover three lakes, serpentine canal, climbable prospect mount, period former banana house and later an orangery and plantsmans glade. Italian terrace by Peto with magnificent views to the Isle of Wight. Drives and colonnade by Mawson and delightful statue of Mercury with his bow.
