A limited number of tickets have been made available for this special one-day event kindly hosted by William and Kate Corbett-Winder. Meet in the courtyard for an introductory talk by Kate, followed by a guided tour accompanied by Kate and her gardener Rupert Redway. Spectacular five acre garden set in parkland with medieval oaks. In June the herbaceous borders are at their peak, planted with perennials. Stately cardoons and Crambe cordifolia are underplanted with Centaurea, poppies, roses, alliums, Circium, Tradescantia and flowering shrubs. Roses bloom in the box edged parterre and these formal plantings contrast with the natural grasses that have been encouraged for the summer in the long Victorian archery lawn on the terrace.
