Llanfechain Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Beautiful historic village in glorious setting on River Cain with otters and a myriad of bird life. Motte and bailey fort Domen Gastell; church of St Garmon dating back to 1603 and a C17 pub. Seven gardens: a school community garden, carefully tended bungalow gardens, a delightful hidden garden with a rill, small terraced gardens showing what can be achieved with a small plot, and a large garden with productive vegetable and fruit area and beehives designed to encourage wildlife approx 10-15 mins walk from the village centre.
