Two very different gardens on the edge of `Dartmoor with views across to Torbay and the Teign estuary. New borders and plants have been added to the 1 acre garden at Brambly Wood where the mature rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias are a delight in May. There are many herbaceous borders, a fruit and vegetable cage with raised beds, and tranquil seating areas throughout. You are welcome to browse our studios showing artisan pottery, textiles and art work. The ¼ acre garden at Haytor House was designed along more classical lines as a project for horticultural students in the 1930s and provides distinctive planting within partitioned areas.
