Skipwith Hall - Open Garden for NGS
4 acre walled garden of Queen Anne house. Mixture of historic formal gardens, some designed by Cecil Pinsent (worked largely in Italy in 1st half of the C20) and informal planting for wildlife. Woodland with variety of specimen trees and meadows woven to create a wood meadow. No-dig kitchen garden with maze and pool, Italian garden, gravel garden, many roses. Orchard with trained fruit on walls.
