Poetry & Pavlova International Women’s Day Poetry Reading and Open Mic
The Shelley Memorial Project is delighted to present a celebration of inspirational women on this important global occasion.
Our theme this year is Poetry and Pavlova, and both will be served on Sunday 8th March, from 3 pm to 5 pm, at the wonderfully fitting venue of The Women’s Hall, Billingshurst High Street.
Poets of all levels of experience are invited to apply to read their work on the theme of Inspirational Women. Our guest poets, The Booming Lovelies, will also be sharing pieces from their collections.
Whether you’d like to take part in the open mic or simply enjoy listening to poetry with a slice of pavlova and a cup of tea or coffee, we would love to welcome you.
