Internationally-Renowned Art Group Creates Three Floors of Interactive Installations
A new, pop-up immersive art attraction has launched in London created by the internationally-acclaimed artists behind Rain Room – TOGETHER, by Random International, has taken over The Venue, Piccadilly Lights until 1 March.
Designed for the general public and suitable for all ages, the experience spans seven interactive installations across three floors, inviting visitors to use their own movements, gestures and choices to create art in real time.
The immersive experience uses cutting-edge digital infrastructure allowing the public to interact and create their own unique art in real time, some of which will have the chance to appear on Piccadilly Lights, one of the most globally iconic digital landmarks.
Open seven days a week, visitors to TOGETHER can experience seven interactive installations, including:
- Pixelography lets you create your own digital portrait using simple hand and body movements. Visitors become the artist, producing one-of-a-kind images that can be purchased to take home as a print and digital file – 10% of profits will be donated to charity partner Take A Moment, which raises awareness of mental health
- Piccadilly Blur is a newly commissioned, site-specific installation where your movements change a 14-metre screen into shifting, atmospheric imagery
- Body Light, first presented at the 2025 Noor Riyadh Festival, turns your body into a drawing tool, allowing you to create glowing trails of light as you move through the space
- Temporary Graffiti, an installation previously shown at the Tate and Serpentine Galleries, encourages participants to ‘paint’ with light on responsive surfaces, creating glowing marks that slowly fade.
- Life in Our Minds is a fully immersive space that visualises collective behaviour through evolving, generative that changes and grows based on how people move and gather inside it
