Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at Malmesbury Abbey on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2pm: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music presented by the performers, often with the addition of a poem or two read by Jackie Tong. Refreshments are available in the abbey café before and after the concert.
Our first programme of 2026 is a varied collection of music by composers of African origin, from Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-George, who was a contemporary of Mozart, to 20th century composers, in particular from North America.
There’s no need to book, though an RSVP via our website is appreciated. Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone. The Abbey is easily accessible. There is parking in the council car park, high street (time limited), market cross and next to the Abbey itself (both 2 hours).
