Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month at 10.45am at Holy Trinity Church: a 45-minute concert of mostly classical music, introduced by the performers. There is a pop-up café open from 10am where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.
Our first programme of 2026 is a varied collection of music by composers of African origin, from Joseph Bologne Chevalier de Saint-George, who was a contemporary of Mozart, to 20th century composers, in particular from North America.
There's no need to book, though an RSVP via our website is appreciated. Turn up early for best seats and choice of cakes as these concerts are very popular! Trio Paradis Cafe Concerts are 'pay-what-you-feel' via a retiring collection, to keep live music affordable for everyone. Access at Holy Trinity is very good. There is parking by St Margaret's Hall and a disabled parking space at the back of the church, in Church Street.
