World-Class Sidecarcross Returns to Canada Heights – 30 & 31 May
The World Sidecarcross Championship is making an exciting return to Canada Heights Motocross Track, Swanley, Kent, on 30–31 May for the first time in 25 years. This highly anticipated event is organised by Waterlooville Motorcycle Club in association with Sidcup Motorcycle Club, bringing together the best sidecarcross riders from around the world to compete at one of the UK’s most iconic motocross venues.
Following an action-packed 2025 British Grand Prix at Foxhills, the return to Canada Heights promises to be even bigger, with non-stop racing action, dramatic jumps, and fierce battles for the podium. Brett Wilkinson and Joe Millard, the current British Champions, will lead the charge for home glory. After an impressive third-place finish in the World Championship last season, the duo will be looking to go one better and claim victory on home soil. Alongside them will be Dan Foden, who has shown stunning form since his return, claiming multiple race wins and hopes to be challenging for the title in 2026.
The British team boasts a wealth of talent, including Michael Hodges, 18 time UK champ Stuart Brown, and George Kinge, making it one of the strongest lineups in years. With the British team coming off a second-place finish at the Sidecarcross of Nations, expectations are high for a British rider to take the top step of the podium.
In addition to the thrilling action, the weekend will feature the Past Masters Sidecar Support race, where local Kent legends like Chris Etheridge, John Chambers will return to the track. These iconic riders, including former World Champion Hansi Bachtold, will offer fans a rare chance to see the sport’s most celebrated figures back in action.
