Napoleonic Muster 2026
Enjoy an impressive Napoleonic muster as we are joined by The Old 68th Durham Light Infantry Society and Display Team!
The group will be setting up camp on the picnic field at Pockerley Old Hall this weekend for a drill session, telling the story of life in the army at this time, and will perform musket-firing displays in the field opposite Pockerley Tram stop. Visitors can view the musket-firing displays from the roadside at intervals between 12-1pm and 2–3pm.
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the opening of Pockerley Old Hall the museum will hold 30 activities at Pockerley between Saturday, 17th May and Wednesday, 31st December 2025.
As with all daytime events, you can use your Unlimited Pass or Friends of Beamish membership to enjoy this special event.
