Formed in London, the Zoe Barnett and Georgina Dadson Guitar Duo brings a burstingly colourful South American and Spanish programme showcasing rare gems in the form of Suite Retratos by Radames Gnattali and guitar classics including a duo arrangement of Recuerdos de la Alhambra by Francisco Tarrega.
As individual artists, Zoe and Georgina have built distinguished careers. Zoe, a D’Addario Artist and graduate of the Royal College of Music, has performed at venues such as Wigmore Hall and Kings Place, firmly establishing herself as an engaging soloist performer in the classical music scene. In 2022 she garnered significant recognition as an International Guitar Foundation Young Artist premiering new and compelling works for the guitar by the acclaimed composer Zhenyan Li during this time.
Georgina, a graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire has played in masterclasses with Xufei Yang, Fabio Zanon, Amanda Cook and Laura Snowden. She particularly enjoys performing in the intimate setting of ensembles and duos, and has performed in several successful collaborations including those which embrace voice (Baker Dadson and The Georgina Duo) and flute (Aulus and the Eros Duo) as well as the guitar (Abeto Duo)
Both artistes are committed to expanding the boundaries of how and where people experience music. Zoe has a dynamic online presence with her content reaching over three million people across social media. Georgina is a 'Live Music Now' musician , an organisation which crafts engaging concerts for hospitals, care homes and schools. Please do join us to hear and see this newly fledged duo.
