Organisers aim to recruit 100 participants for one unforgettable day — or risk losing vital funding for local school projects. Do you dare to walk on fire or plunge into icy water – all for a powerful local cause?
Residents of Ware and surrounding areas are being invited to push their limits this March as a brand-new fundraising event, Fire & Ice, comes to Ware Lido and Priory on Saturday 7th March.
The exciting challenge event gives participants the choice to take on a fire walk, a cold-water swim, or for the bravest, both. Fire & Ice promises to be a thrilling, confidence-boosting experience designed to help people do something they never thought they could.
Organisers are hoping to recruit 100 local people to take part and help raise essential funds for a new children’s charity with strong local roots
Supporting Local Children Through Big Ideas
Fire & Ice is raising funds for Project Possibility (www.projectpossibility.uk), a new UK charity created by three local friends, who wanted to do something genuinely inspiring for children — both locally and nationally that works with schools to help children experience ambition, creativity and possibility.
“Fire & Ice is about stepping outside your comfort zone so children can step into bigger possibilities,” said a spokesperson for Project Possibility. “Every participant helps us deliver creative, confidence-building experiences for young people right here in our local community.” Co-Founder, James Frecknall
Organisers are urging people to get involved before it’s too late:
*Sign up and take part in the Fire walk, Cold Water Swim, or both
*Encourage friends, family, or colleagues to join
*Or, if taking part isn’t for you, donate directly to support the cause
