Cathay celebrates 80 years with Simon Squibb event

At The London Palladium on 25 February, entrepreneur and bestselling author, Simon Squibb will reveal how to turn big ambitions into reality - with guests given the chance to pitch their own dreams.

Award-winning airline Cathay Pacific is celebrating its 80th anniversary with ‘Cathay Presents an evening with Simon Squibb’, a special, free event at The London Palladium on 25 February.

Headlining the event is British entrepreneur, best-selling author and social media personality Simon Squibb, who found success in Hong Kong, the home of Cathay Pacific. He will share his insights on turning big ambitions into reality, drawing on a journey that still connects him to the city today.

Brian Tsoi, Regional General Manager Europe, Cathay said: “As we mark 80 years of connecting people and places, we’re delighted to host this special evening for our members at The London Palladium. It’s a chance not only to hear Simon’s story, but for our members to share their own dreams as part of our anniversary celebrations.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Simon Squibb said: “Hong Kong has played an incredibly important role in shaping both my personal and professional journey. Partnering with iconic Hong Kong brand, Cathay Pacific, to share stories, spark ideas and help a few dreams take flight feels genuinely special.”

More than just a talk, the evening will follow Simon’s trademark style in helping others; inviting audience members to pitch their dreams live, with standout ideas potentially supported by the airline.

Cathay’s membership comes with perks including the ability to earn and redeem Asia Miles for flights, hotels and shopping as well as access to The London Palladium’s VIP Cathay Suite.

This event is part of Cathay’s wider 80th anniversary celebrations, underlining its role as one of the world’s leading airlines linking the UK with Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific.
