Begin Wood Carving – Redstart
£48 per person, 18+ only, book online
This full-day wood carving workshop introduces participants to the craft of wildlife carving under the guidance of the Bentley Wildlife Carvers. Attendees learn the fundamentals of carving as they shape a redstart from a pre-prepared wooden block, then paint their finished bird to take home as a unique keepsake or handmade gift. All tools, materials and protective equipment are provided, and the small group size ensures plenty of one-to-one support throughout the day.
Designed for adults aged 18+, the carving workshop takes place on 17 May, running from 10am to 4pm, and costs £48 per person, including centre admission. Food and drink are not included, but participants may bring a picnic or purchase refreshments on site. Booking is available online only.
