However, to his dismay, he discovers that he has actually signed up to perform with a small amateur dramatic society in the quiet English village of Stratford St. John, not Stratford-upon-Avon.
As Steele's inflated ego clashes with the enthusiastic yet unpolished local cast, comic chaos unfolds.
