A care home in East Sussex will be raising the woof with a community dog show.
Care UK’s Bowes House, on Battle Road in Hailsham, will be welcoming the public on Friday 6th March from 2pm–3pm for its canine competition.
Locals two-legged and four are invited to join the fun in the home, where they will have the chance to compete in some fun classes, meet the friendly home team, resident judges and enjoy some delicious refreshments.
There will be prizes up for grabs across a range of categories including cutest puppy, best rescue and best in show, with a panel of dog-loving residents ready to judge and fuss over the pooches.
Lisa Philips, Customer Relations Manager at Bowes House, said: “We are excited to welcome local pups to our dog competition – it'll be a paw-some day!
“Here at Bowes House, we’re always looking for new and exciting events to bring residents and the community together, and with many puppy-loving people in the home, hosting our own version of Crufts seemed like a no-brainer.
“We are very much looking forward to meeting lots of new faces…of the two and four-legged kind!”
