Colours of Light An Art Exhibition in Card, paint, clay and glass
Jenny Penney works in card, using an inspired technique. She creates pictures in relief using card, glue a scalpel. Her works are mainly of the Dorset Landscape and its wildlife.
Lindsey J Cole paints in oils, acrylics and watercolours and also creates works in mixed media. She draws her inspiration from the natural world, the New Forest and surrounding coastline, responding to atmosphere and light.
Katy Tunstall is a ceramicist who creates inspirationally shaped and decorated vases often with images of flower and seed-heads, winter trees and glimpses of birds in flight. The application of glazes and oxides in a painterly way aid in expressing the tapestry of subtle, earthy tones of the landscape.
Gillian McCormick is a Stained glass artist, specialising in painted fired and fused glass. She has trained in painting, staining, acid etching and fusing to produce her stunning works of birds and British mammals.
