The North Leeds Charity Beer and Music Festival is a lively community celebration showcasing Yorkshire brewing, live music, local food, and family-friendly activities, all supporting charitable causes. Organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay and supported through the Rotary Club of Lausanne, Switzerland, the festival has raised over £100k for local charities, youth projects, health initiatives, and community programmes since 2012.
Visitors can explore a wide selection of 36+ traditional cask ales from Yorkshire and regional breweries, including Kirkstall, Leeds, Ossett, Roosters, Daleside, Wishbone, Craven Brew Co, and Chin Chin. From light, refreshing ales to rich, full-bodied favourites, there is something for every palate. For alternatives, a gin and prosecco bar is available alongside gluten-free and alcohol-free options, ensuring all visitors can enjoy the festival.
The event also features local food, including Setchfield Butchers’ pork pie and peas, Mrs Singh’s samosas.
Live music runs throughout, offering a diverse programme spanning jazz, blues, pop, rock, and soul, with performances from local bands, emerging talent, and returning festival favourites, creating a lively soundtrack for the weekend.
Our family friendly afternoon is a welcoming space for younger visitors, with face painting, games, and safe play areas, while children enjoy free entry with a paying adult. Snacks are available for a small charge, allowing families to relax and enjoy the festival together.
Run entirely by volunteers, the festival combines great beer, live music, local food, and community spirit while raising funds for meaningful charitable causes. Headline sponsors Morley Glass play a key role in supporting the festival, helping make it a highlight of the North Leeds community.
Whether you’re a beer enthusiast, gin lover, or family, the North Leeds Charity Beer and Music Festival offers a unique mix of entertainment, local flavours, and charitable impact.
