Flowers for mums at SouthGate Bath as Rococo performers visit for Moth
Visitors to SouthGate Bath will be able to pick up flowers for mums and mother figures this Sunday (15 March), with donations supporting local charity The Nest Project.
To mark Mother’s Day, a troupe of Rococo-inspired performers will be roaming the centre handing out bunches of flowers to visitors celebrating the day.
Inspired by Bath’s historic heritage, the Rococo Loco performers will be dressed in colourful floral costumes, complete with elaborate wigs and fluttering fans, creating a striking spectacle for shoppers and visitors to the city.
The performers will be giving away spring posies throughout the day in exchange for a small donation to The Nest Project, offering a surprise for mums spending Mother’s Day in Bath.
The Nest Project provides free clothing, equipment and toiletries to children under the age of five in Bath and North East Somerset, with donations made over the weekend going directly to support young children across the region.
SouthGate Bath is home to a range of retailers including M&S, Hotel Chocolat and Rituals, alongside restaurants and cafés such as Cosy Club and Mokoko, making it a popular destination for Mother’s Day shopping and dining.
The Rococo performers will be at the centre between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 15 March, with flowers available while stocks last.
