Pudsey funeral home invites community to special Easter egg trail

A funeral home in Pudsey has created a very special Easter egg trail around the town.

As part of its ongoing community support initiatives, Co-op Funeralcare Pudsey, on Church Lane, is inviting locals to its fun, family-friendly trail on Tuesday 31st March, taking residents through local shops while hunting for colourful Easter eggs.

Visitors will first begin at the funeral home to collect a trail map, before setting off on foot to spot the easter egg posters displayed in 15 shops around the town centre. Once participants have completed the trail, they can return to the branch to collect a chocolate egg as a reward.

Emma Kitcher, Funeral Arranger at Co-op Funeralcare Pudsey, said: “Easter is a time where families come together, but it can also highlight the space left by those we’ve lost, so we wanted to organise something fun that brings the whole community together and puts a smile on people’s faces while supporting local businesses. It’s a simple way to help people create happy memories with their loved ones and enjoy some time outdoors.

“We’re really looking forward to welcoming families from across Pudsey. And for anyone who may be going through a difficult time, our team is always here to offer a listening ear and signpost the support available.”

To take part in the trail, families can visit the branch between 9am–5pm on Tuesday 31st March to collect their map.
