Bournville Amnesty talk by Caroline Cadbury

Bournville Amnesty presents… Dame Elizabeth, social reformer and philanthropist - a great-grand daughter’s perspective.
Caroline Cadbury, great-grand daughter of Elizabeth Cadbury, has been rediscovering her family’s history since becoming a Trustee at the Bournville Village Trust and, more recently, its chair - a
position held by Elizabeth 100 years before her and who left a lasting legacy through the pursuit of social justice on the local, national and international stage.
Elizabeth had always been both an inspiration and a strong role model throughout Caroline’s childhood. She hopes to shine a light on the incredible work Elizabeth did in service to others and the great causes of the day.
This is a personal account based on family archives and stories handed down the generations.
