Community invited to visit Stroud care home…which has its own cinema,

A care home in Stroud is opening its doors for the public to explore its outstanding facilities.

Care UK’s Scarlet House, on Westward Road in Ebley, will be holding an open day on Saturday 28th March from 11am–4pm.

Members of the community will have the opportunity to meet the team and chat to Home Manager Adrian Boldog. Guests will also be able to take a tour around the care home, which has its own cinema, hair and beauty salon and café, as well as enjoy live entertainment from singer, Shelley Nicholson.

Visitors can indulge in a range of tasty treats specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef, Tony Jeanes, who has 33 years of experience working in award-winning restaurants.

Meals are always made from scratch, with plenty of options to choose from every day. Residents’ preferences are monitored – from how much milk they like in their tea to their favourite cake – and everyone is regularly consulted for seasonal menu suggestions to provide a truly five-star experience.

Scarlet House is a state-of-the-art care home that provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care. Designed to enable residents to lead active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, it incorporates plenty of space for hobby and leisure activities.
