Make this Easter one to remember with a visit to Battersea Park Children's Zoo, one of South London's most beloved family days out. From hatching chicks to keeper talks and Easter egg hunts, there's something to delight every member of the family throughout the school holidays.
Meet the Chicks – Little Cheeps Nursery
One of the highlights this Easter is the return of Little Cheeps Nursery. Head to the Hive cabin to meet the zoo's youngest residents — rare breed chicks hatched right here at Battersea. Watch them grow from eggs in an incubator into beautiful birds, and join the daily Meet the Chicks talk at 2pm (plus 10:30am on weekends and bank holidays). Entry is included in your standard zoo ticket.
Nursery open daily 11am–1pm and 2pm–4pm throughout Easter.
Easter Keeper Talks & Animal Encounters
Every day of the Easter holidays, the keeper team host a packed schedule of talks and feeding sessions. Get up close with otters, lemurs, capuchin monkeys and Scottish wildcats, and feed the pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs at special encounter sessions.
Easter Egg Hunt
Follow the trail across the zoo in search of Easter eggs. Trail sheets are £1.50 each and include a small prize when completed sheets are returned at the shop.
Weekend & Bank Holiday Crafts
On Easter weekends and bank holidays, drop into the Hive cabin for seasonal crafts. Try badge making (£1) or keyring making (£2) — perfect for little ones to take home a handmade memento.
Whether you're searching for Easter activities in London or simply planning a fun spring day out in Battersea Park, the zoo promises a full day of wildlife, discovery and family memories.
