Whiteley has announced a whole range of egg-celent activities to keep families entertained during the school holidays.
This Saturday (28th March), The Magical Nanny and her Cheeky Chimney Sweep will be making a special stop at the centre from 11am until 4pm, greeting shoppers and sprinkling a spoonful of sugar as they encourage everyone to sing-along to their favourite tunes.
From Saturday, visitors will also be able to take part in this year’s Easter Egg Hunt every day over the school holidays. Shoppers can pick up an entry form from Waterstones for just a £3 donation per child, with all proceeds going towards local charity Eight Foundation and allowing visitors to make a real difference to the community whilst they solve puzzles and collect clues.
Visitors to the centre over the Easter weekend itself can make the most of Whiteley’s popular Artisan Market, which is once again set to showcase the best of local craftmanship.
From unique, handcrafted items to gourmet treats, the monthly market is the perfect place to pick up a special Easter gift and will be on site at the centre on Saturday 4th April from 10am to 5pm and Sunday 5th April from 10am to 4pm.
Then on Monday 6th April, the Easter Bunny and The Curious Girl from Wonderland will be hosting a meet and greet with shoppers and performing enchanting songs on stage between 11am and 4pm.
It comes as Whiteley has confirmed the re-opening of its much-loved sandpit just in time for the holidays, with the space offering a decking area, accessibility ramp and a whole host of toys to make sure children can have more fun outdoors during the Easter break.
Whiteley’s one-of-a-kind, child-sized village Little Giggle Street will also be open during the school holidays, with immersive experiences from shopping for groceries at the mini market to lending a helping hand at the fire station keeping the centre’s smallest visitors busy.
