Step into the season of new life at Earth Trust! Help the farmer tend to our newborn lambs and calves, explore blooming gardens and minibeasts, play on the mini tractors and hobby horses, get hands-on with nature in our mud kitchen and water play, create nature inspired crafts and much more!
Designed especially for families with children aged 2-8, ‘Spring on the Farm’ offers a fantastic day outdoors for nature enthusiasts of all ages, with the chance to meet and connect with the new life that makes springtime so special. If you’re looking for a relaxed and joyful alternative to busy holiday attractions, packed with opportunities to have fun and explore as a family, then this is the event for you.

Dates: Wednesday 27th May – Sunday 31st May 2026
Time: 10am – 3.30pm
Location: Earth Lab, Earth Trust Centre, Little Wittenham
Cost: £12 per child (adults and under 2s free with the purchase of a child ticket)
Suitability: Ages 2 – 8 years (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Important informationOur family activities will run from 10am to 3.30pm each day, with some of our activities running on schedules. When you arrive, you’ll sign up for one of our Be a Farmer experience timeslots, which will run regularly throughout the day. You’re also welcome to bring your little ones to one of either our morning or afternoon storytime sessions. Outside of these activities, our grounds, gardens and play areas are yours to explore at your leisure!
