Westgate Oxford is the ultimate family friendly destination this Easter, as it invites guests young and old to enjoy a series of free meet and greets with some of your favourite characters alongside the return of its crafting club and themed exploration trail.
The meet and greets will take place on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the Easter break, 31st March and 1st April as well as 7th and 8th April, and guests must book free tickets in advance to secure admittance to the events via www.westgateoxford.co.uk/en/event-listing-page/easter-character-kids-meet-greets
There will be five sessions each day, all fully accessible, with one daily slot designed to be suitable for Special Educational Needs.
The full schedule of events includes:
• Chase from PAW Patrol – 31st March
• Peter Rabbit™ – 1st April
• Zog – 7th April
• Peppa Pig – 8th April
The centre’s Crafting Club will also return throughout the Easter holidays, with sessions taking place from 10am - 7pm every day. Guests can get creative with a variety of Easter-themed activities, including mask-decorating as well as bookmark and coaster-making.
For even more free family fun, Westgate Oxford’s Alice in Wonderland-themed Hatter’s Hunt trail, produced in partnership with The Story Museum, is open throughout the school holiday, inviting guests of all ages to go down a rabbit hole of clues, riddles, and surprises to find the five plaques hidden throughout the centre.
To participate, guests can pick up a trail map from the Hatter’s Hunt kiosk. Once the map is completed, families can return it to a member of the Guest Experience team to receive a special prize.
Guests can take a moment to relax after the fun of characters and crafts at Westgate Oxford’s ‘ART and PLAY’ installation, an interactive 3D space featuring colourful cubes, archways, and smooth slides designed to spark imagination and allow people of all ages to come together to play, rest, and connect.
