John Rutter's 'Requiem'
On Saturday June 20th The Rawstorne Singers and friends are performing John Rutter's 'Requiem' a wonderful piece of music which was composed by one of the most successful of all living composers. His Choral works and Christmas music are well known and the 'Requiem' features some of his most moving choral masterpieces.
Rutter’s Requiem thoroughly earns its status as one of the most popular compositions of the last thirty years. The concert follows a 'singing day choral workshop' during which we welcomed new singers who enjoy singing and wanted to spend a day with the Rawstorne Singers prior to performing the Requiem afterwards in a short concert starting at 16:00.
