Cerne Giant Festival - Giants and Kings
Join Rebecca Danicic, Forth Bard of Dorchester (Caer Dur 2025-26) and Peter Roe, Grand Bard of Dorset (2024-29) for an afternoon of poetry, stories and spoken word. The Bards will present a layered palimpset of Cerne Abbas and the Giant - myth and history, Hercules and Eawold, landscape and legend - woven through original verse and evocative retellings. Expect wit, gravitas and a living bardic tradition brought vividly to life beneath Dorset's most iconic chalk colossus. Performance just under an hour. (Parental Guidance)
