Ruth Graham Art Open Studio
Ruth Graham is an acclaimed contemporary abstract artist specialising in dynamic, textured large-scale original paintings in oil and acrylic.
Once a year the studio opens up as part of the Sutton Coldfield Art trail - a chance to visit to see the works in person; to chat to Ruth about her inspiration, work and process, and to purchase should you wish. There is of course no obligation!
Expect to see dynamic, sweeping cosmic scenes; nature-inspired pieces and watery themes, in beautiful palettes ranging from blue to greens and gold. There's something for everyone, and a selection of small scale pieces painted especially for the event too.
The works are shown throughout her home and studio; there's a lovely garden, and refreshments will be available.
There will also be a fantastic selection of her partner's Raku glazed pottery, ranging from cups and saucers to teapots, vases and items of curiosity.
