Reading Lighthouse Mini Music Festival

Overview
Lighthouse is like a 4 hour mini music festival. We've designed it for you to meet new people, stay present, unwind, and enjoy the moment.

Reading Lighthouse Mini Music Festival

Lighthouse is a monthly event built around community, togetherness & music. A place to dance, talk, laugh, and actually meet people. No sticky floors. No shouting over DJs. No drunken chaos.

It’s a warm and welcoming space where friendships form naturally through music, movement, and shared experience. Designed for people tired of screens, apps, and loud nights out, and for people who want to feel part of something real again.

The music for the night is led by Eddie Chilvers, composer, pianist, singer and multi-instrumentalist. Eddie and his guest musicians blend piano, percussion & global influences to shape the evening’s experience.

At Lighthouse we aim to do more than just entertain you. We encourage people to get involved and get to know each other. Each event is limited to 50 participants to ensure an intimate atmosphere. We strive to engage everyone through thoughtful ice-breakers, curated musical experiences where you can sing along or dance (or both!) and an open-mic hour where you can share a song, poem, a favourite story or what ever you like if you want to.

We call it a mini music festival because we’ve combined the best elements from some of our favourite festivals into one vibrant venue. Here’s what you can expect from the venue:

The music stage, naturally
A cosy lounge area adorned with pillows, cushions and blankets
A space to dance whenever inspiration strikes
A space dedicated to art, crafts, and interactive games for creative engagement
A place to top up with cacao, delicious treats, and other delightful goodies
